What's on the page​

  • Data Source — an overview of the Scryfall API and its update cadence
  • Card Properties — a 17-field schema table (Scryfall ID, mana cost, type line, layout, rarity, and more) with example values
  • Mana Colors — the six colors/color identities (White, Blue, Black, Red, Green, Colorless), each with its symbol and a short thematic description
  • Rarities — the six rarity tiers, each shown with its color dot and letter badge (Common, Uncommon, Rare, Mythic, Special, Bonus)
  • Card Layouts — the ten layout types (Normal, Split, Flip, Transform, Modal DFC, and others) that determine how a card is physically laid out
  • Formats — a table of the ten constructed/casual formats (Standard, Modern, Legacy, Vintage, Commander, Pioneer, Historic, Pauper, and more) with deck size requirements
  • Legality Status — the four legality states a card can have per format, each with a colored badge

Where the data comes from​

Card and set data is imported from Scryfall, including their set list. If you want to verify a specific card's rulings or full oracle text, Scryfall is the authoritative source this app mirrors.
