Card Tray

The Card Tray is a temporary staging area for cards you've selected while browsing a box section — a way to gather cards from one or more places and then move or delete them all at once, without affecting your collection until you confirm.

Adding cards to the tray​

Open any box section and switch the card grid to Select mode, then click cards to add them to your tray (shift-click to select a range). A mini tray indicator appears in the sidebar while you have cards selected, and opens automatically as you select.

Selecting a card only adds it to your current selection — it is not removed from its section or your collection until you explicitly move or delete it.

The Card Tray page​

Open the full tray at /tray (via the mini tray's Open Tray Page button, or the Card Tray item in the sidebar). Visiting this page automatically closes the sidebar's mini tray.

Cards are grouped by their box → section, each group showing the section and box names (linked), a TCG badge, and a card count.

Actions per group​

  • Move to… — opens a dialog to choose a destination box and section. You can rename or create destinations inline. Cards are always added to the end of the destination section. Moving is only allowed within the same TCG — the app will tell you if selected cards don't share one.
  • Section actions (⋮) — Move to another section, Open section, Open box, or Delete cards (a destructive, permanent removal from your collection — with a reminder to physically pull the cards from their real-world stack first).

Other tray actions​

  • Clear All — empties your current selection. This does not delete anything; the cards stay exactly where they are in your collection.
  • Removing a single card from the tray asks "Remove from tray?" — again, this only affects the selection, not the stored card.

Why use the tray instead of moving cards one at a time?​

If you're reorganizing a box — say, splitting a bulk box into per-set sections — the tray lets you select cards from anywhere, review the full pending batch on one page, and commit the move in a single confirmed action instead of repeating the same steps card by card.
