Where do I get help?​

  • In-app: open your avatar menu (bottom of the sidebar) → Help & Guides opens this documentation site; TCG Reference opens the in-app schema/icon reference for each game; TCG Database lets you browse every card in the system.
  • Feedback: if you see a Collaborate button in the sidebar, select it to share ideas or report issues directly with the team. It only appears once you've allowed non-essential cookies (see below) and the feedback tool is configured.
  • Order support: for Webshop order questions, email felix@tcginventory.ch.

Common questions​

Do I need a password? No. TCG Inventory uses passwordless "magic link" sign-in — see Account Setup.

Can I sign up with Google or another social account? Not currently — email magic links are the only sign-in method.

I signed up but never got an email. What do I do? Check your spam folder first. Signup access is currently limited to invited beta testers — if you weren't invited, you won't be able to complete sign-up even if the form accepts your details.

Why can't I see the "Decks" section that used to exist? The in-app deck builder is temporarily hidden while it's being reworked. Any deck data you created previously still exists, but the feature isn't accessible from the navigation right now.

Where did my scanned cards go? Cards stay in Scans until they're approved and filed into a box section — they won't appear in your Collection until both steps are done. See Starting & Reviewing a Scan.

Can I export my collection? Yes — every box, deck, and section has an Export option that lets you choose a format and which fields to include.

Cookies & privacy​

A cookie banner appears on your first visit, offering Accept all or Manage preferences. Essential cookies (needed for login, security, and core functionality) are always on. You can turn analytics/non-essential cookies on or off at any time from the preferences dialog, or from the Cookie settings button on the Cookie Policy page. Turning on non-essential cookies is also what enables the Collaborate feedback widget in the sidebar.

  • Terms of Service (/terms) — the binding terms covering the web app, the Card Butler hardware, and website use.
  • Privacy Policy (/privacy) — who processes your data, why, and your rights under Swiss/EU data protection law.
  • Cookie Policy (/cookies) — details on the cookies and tracking technologies used, with a link to manage your preferences.
