Listing process
Listing prices copies that are already in your boxes. It does not pull them. Take-out starts only when a buyer pays or holds a copy. See Take-out.
Choose stock
On Trader → List cards (/trader/list):
| Shortcut | What it selects |
|---|---|
| Latest scans | Copies scanned in the last few days |
| High-value | Copies at or above the high-value guide threshold |
| All | Everything still available that matches your filters |
Filters match the rest of the app (name, set, condition, language, foil, location, price). Select rows, then List.
PowerTools add
PowerTools add builds a listing from a search instead of ticking rows:
| Mode | Use when |
|---|---|
| Single card | You know the name, a set + number (LEA 232), or "LEA Black Lotus" |
| By expansion | You want every available copy from a set. Optional Jump to # starts review at that collector number |
| Bulk set | Commons and uncommons from a set — large cheap lots |
| CSV | You already have a CardTrader-style CSV (blueprint_id,quantity,price,…). Failed rows are reported; matching available copies become the listing |
Preview first, then Create listing. Only copies that are still available are added.
Destinations
When you list, pick one or both:
| Destination | What happens |
|---|---|
| Community Shop | Priced copies become holdable on your public storefront. Set the shop up first — Community Shop |
| Other platforms | Prices the copies for CardTrader publish or a marketplace file you download later |
You can pick both now. Publishing to CardTrader or downloading a marketplace file later takes those copies off the Community Shop so they cannot sell twice.
Set prices
A listing opens a review (/trader/list/[id]):
- Apply a pricing rule, or type prices in the table.
- Walk one copy at a time for expensive or guide-less cards. Enter saves, arrows move, S skips.
- Accept suggested prices in bulk when the guide looks right.
- On CardTrader-priced listings, the walk shows the live CardTrader book so you can match a real offer.
Copies without a market value need a manual price. Unpriced copies stay in the listing and are left out of publish / file download.
Go live
Once prices are accepted you get two panels:
List on your card shop
Puts priced copies on the Community Shop. Buyers hold a unique copy and pay at pickup. Copies without a price stay in the listing.
List online with export
Pick a marketplace format:
| Format | What you get |
|---|---|
| Card Trader | Publish into your CardTrader account (token required), or download a CardTrader file |
| Cardmarket | File you upload on Cardmarket |
| TCGPlayer | File you upload on TCGPlayer |
| TCG PowerTools | Generic priced CSV |
| Shopify / BinderPOS / eBay | Files those tools can import |
Publish to Card Trader queues a job. The job table on the listing tracks submit → poll → completed or failed. Cron finishes the work; do not expect the products to appear in the same click.
Download file and reserve copies downloads the file and marks those copies Reserved. They stay in their boxes. Nothing is live on Cardmarket / TCGPlayer until you upload the file there.
Publishing to CardTrader or downloading a file clears the Community Shop flag on those copies.
After you list
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Listed | Priced and offered. Channel badges say CardTrader, Community Shop, or marketplace file |
| Reserved | Committed to a CardTrader order, a shop hold, or a downloaded file |
| Sold | Pulled during take-out |
Use Listed on to filter one channel. Exports (/trader/exports) lets you download a marketplace file again.
To take copies off CardTrader, open the listing and Remove from Card Trader. Disconnecting the token in Settings does not unlist live products.
