Pricing

Trader → Pricing (/trader/pricing) is where you build reusable rules. Apply a rule when you list, or let the pricing bot reprice live CardTrader listings.

Collection Price Source in Settings only changes displayed prices around the app. A listing rule can use a different source (for example display Cardmarket, price CardTrader listings off the live book).

Price guide vs competition

TypeAnchorTypical use
Price guideLow / Average / Trend (Cardmarket), Market / Mid / Low / High (TCGPlayer), Low / Average / High (CardTrader)Fast, offline, good coverage
CompetitionNth cheapest matching offer on the live CardTrader bookUndercut or match sellers you care about

CardTrader has no trend or rolling averages. Low is the cheapest live listing.

Competition-only options

Playset pricingPrice against playset-sized offers when you are listing four
Strict languageOnly match offers in the copy’s language

A preview line shows what a sample card (low 1.00 / avg 2.00 / trend 2.50) would list at.

Applying a rule

On List cards, select copies and choose a rule in the autoprice dialog — or open a listing and apply a rule to the batch. Review suggested prices before you publish. You can override any row.

Need a one-off? Choose Price manually and type in the listing table.

Pricing bot

The bot is for live CardTrader listings, not Community Shop holds and not marketplace files.

  1. Name the program and pick a default rule.
  2. Save program.
  3. Run now to queue a reprice, or leave it for the nightly run.

The default row applies that rule to every live CardTrader listing. Later you can add first-match rows for subsets (set, language, condition, quantity, rarity). Only prices that actually change are sent.

The job table on the listing (and the last-run line on Pricing) shows when a reprice finished or failed.
